You might not be a Hollywood star, but don't give up on your Naples home just yet. A lot of homeowners have turned over their residence for days, or even weeks, for movie or TV shoots. Production companies are willing to shell out big money for the use of the ideal home.

For many, the money, and the glamour is worth it. Others become worried at the thought of having a repair person enter their home. Even for fame, a hundred crewmembers are too much. Still, it could be fun to see your Naples home on the silver screen.

Interior decorating has gone to dark from light. Many Naples homeowners opt for shades of black, brown, and grey instead of pale woods. Everything, from cabinets to faucets, is taking on a darker shade. To so many, these darker colors create a comforting ambiance and balance the stresses of daily life.

Like any trend, dark decorating may one day seem dated. The pink bathtubs from the 60s and green shag of the 70s definitely date a room. Nevertheless, if done properly, your Naples home could be transformed from conventional to warm and cozy.

Nearly 25 percent to 40 percent of condo conversions have gone back to rentals, nationwide. This could impact Naples real estate . Homeowners are encouraging tenants to come back after being unable to sell these converted condos. At this time, rental rates have increased by 12-15 percent, but that price is likely to balance out as additional conversions take place. Keep an eye out for changes in Naples.

One of the leading reasons why you bought your Naples home is because it is a stable investment. You ought to think about purchasing a home in a college town if you are looking for another investment.

University enrollment is forecasted to increase by 15 percent over the next 10 years and students, as well as professors, will need a place to live. Typically, the surrounding area of a college provides more culture, entertainment, and jobs and residents are usually more educated.

The best choices for college towns all across the country are Gainesville, Fl, Fort Collins, CO, and Columbia, MO.

In your Naples home , the proper lighting can make a big difference. An entire space can be brightened, a particular architectural piece will stand out, or the appearance of a room will be altered by lighting. There are just a few details to remember when installing new lights. You should use a consistent style. Colorful tract lighting will not look natural in an older home, while a period crystal chandelier will fit right in. Remember, different lighting can achieve different things. A granite countertop is going to be spotlighted by installing lights in under cabinets.

To get a feel for the kind of lighting you will need, view each room at night, without any natural light. A great way to add a romantic, elegant, touch to any wall is by putting in a sconce. Nothing is more unattractive than a bare light bulb, always cover the bulb. Finally, install individual switches for every light and don't forget about the dimmers. Your Naples home can be exquisitely lit by keeping these tips in mind.
